San Diego Custom Bike Show 2009

April 6th, 2009

This past weekend we drove to San Diego to attend the Custom Bike Show.  The turn out looked good, and the show was an impressive display of talent.  We only took a few photos.   As much as we like bikes, we eventually get sensory overload and the bikes start to blur.  Nonetheless, here are a few photos from the show.

North American Handbuilt Bike Show – 2007

March 3rd, 2007

While all the major bicycle makers have sent their production overseas, a small industry exists for hand built, custom and semi-custom bikes. The Show gathered some of the best in San Jose to torment anyone who loves bikes and did not win the lottery.

The Gallery is very cool.

  • Dave may have been the first to use raised lettering in place of a decal or painted product badging. He doesn't do it much anymore because it is very hard to paint well.
